Hail Damage Inspection
HIGH DETAIL 3D MODEL
Using a DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise, with the zoom lens, the inspection was able to be achieved without getting too close to trees and other obstacles located near the roof of the house. the high resolution model consist of approximately 90 photos.
Results
Using Agisoft Metashape local processing, I was able to process the close up images of some damage I found to create a very high resolution model that can be viewed from various angles. while high resolution this model was also processed as a point cloud and tiled meaning its can be sent and used on browsers and other online forms without extensive resources being used to view. To help with the spacial context of the 3D model, I created a panorama near the damaged zone as well as attached a few of the photos that created the model.
